Mont-Tremblant wedding photographer in the Laurentians

As a Mont-Tremblant wedding photographer, I document your day as it really happens: natural, unposed and full of feeling, in French or English.

The Laurentian mountains wrap around Lac Tremblant, and the pedestrian village, with its colourful rooftops, feels like a little piece of Europe. Above all, it’s a place made for unhurried, romantic photos.

My approach

Why couples choose natural photos

I’ve photographed more than 300 weddings over 14 years. As a result, I know when a moment is about to happen, and I’m already in place.

For most of the day, I stay in the background. Your guests forget I’m there, and that’s when the best photos happen: real laughter, happy tears and the small looks between you two.

I also listen. Whether it’s your grandmother, your dog or a quiet first look by the lake, I shape the day around what matters to you. For a relaxed start, ask about engagement sessions.

Where to say I do

Mont-Tremblant wedding venues

From grand resorts to quiet chalets, the area has a setting for every style. In addition, each one gives me something different to work with: mountain views, lakeside docks or warm wood interiors.

Fairmont Tremblant

A ballroom and a pool terrace with the Laurentian Mountains as a backdrop, at the top of the pedestrian village.

Le Westin Resort and Spa

A resort in the heart of the village, with event spaces and mountain views. Also, the colourful streets are steps away for portraits.

Le Grand Lodge

A lakeside resort with relaxed event spaces. In addition, the docks and the shoreline make easy portrait spots.

Hôtel de Montagne Cap Tremblant

Similarly, a mountain resort on a large hillside property, with panoramic views over the valley.

Laurentian House

Alternatively, a farm venue on 240 acres, for couples who prefer open fields and barns to a ballroom.

Your own chalet

Many couples rent a lakeside chalet for an intimate wedding. In that case, I’ll help you find the best light around it.

Some resort locations have their own rules for photography, so check with Tremblant or your venue early.

Planning

Planning photos with a Mont-Tremblant wedding photographer

01

Plan the timeline

First, we build your timeline together a few weeks before the wedding, so portraits land at the best time of day.

02

Chase golden hour

The hour before sunset is soft and warm. In Mont-Tremblant, it also lights up Lac Tremblant and the mountain behind it.

03

Pick the spots

For instance, forest trails, lakeside docks, the pedestrian village or the summit. Then I suggest spots that fit your style and your schedule.

04

Book early

Summer and fall weekends fill up fast. For that reason, book 9 to 12 months ahead to secure your date.

Questions

Questions for a Mont-Tremblant wedding photographer

For more, see the full FAQ. In addition, my Ottawa wedding photography page explains how I work closer to home.

Do you photograph weddings in French and English in Mont-Tremblant?

Yes. I’m French and fully bilingual. In fact, many Mont-Tremblant weddings bring together Quebec families and guests from Ontario or abroad, so I can direct a family photo, chat with your planner or coordinate with your officiant in either language.

Do I need a permit to take wedding photos around Tremblant?

Some spots around the resort and the pedestrian village have rules for professional photography, and they’re easy to miss. For that reason, I check the requirements for your locations well before the wedding and help you sort out any permit early.

Can we have a winter wedding in Mont-Tremblant?

Absolutely. Winter is one of the most underrated seasons here. Snow on the village rooftops and the mountain makes every portrait look like a postcard. Of course, we keep outdoor portraits short and plan warm-up breaks.

Do you charge travel fees for Mont-Tremblant weddings?

Mont-Tremblant is about a two-hour drive from Ottawa, so it’s an easy trip for me. Any travel or accommodation costs are listed clearly in your quote. Also, for multi-day celebrations, I can cover the welcome dinner or a day-after session.

How much does a Mont-Tremblant wedding photographer cost?

My coverage starts from $2,400 CAD for intimate weddings, with around 300 edited images delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. For full-day options, see the wedding photography packages.
