This special estate has a long history dating back to 1816 when the first settlers in the area started constructing barns and the Hawkins Settler’s Cabin. In 1857, the farmhouse was built as a centerpiece for the vicious 120-acre estate. The beautiful stone farmhouse built over 160 years ago still stands today and forms a backdrop for your wedding ceremony.
When the estate was bought in 1975, the new owners set to work extending the farmhouse and creating the beautiful gardens that now make a beautiful backdrop to the wedding photographs of so many happy couples.
The site has been in the hands of the current owners Stephanie and Steve Malenfant since 2009. Following the purchase, it was renamed Stonefields Estate. Since then it has become one of Canada’s finest wedding venues.

In 2019, the estate saw the wedding ceremony house open its doors. With attractive interior decor adorned in chic design and chandeliers, the ceremony house is the perfect place to hold your wedding ceremony.

There are options to either host the ceremony in the new ceremony house, or to have an outdoor ceremony under a canopy if trees. It’s entirely up to you.
